The hand washing lavatory in the ware-washing area noted being used for other than hand washing. Pan of water noted in hand sink. Hand sinks are ONLY for washing hands. Critical violation corrected with training on the topic.
Non-Critical Violations
2 points: THAWING POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS FOOD
Potentially hazardous foods noted not being thawed using approved methods. Shrimp noted thawing in a sink full of water. When using water to thaw potentially hazardous foods cold running water must be continually ran over thawing food to prevent the exterior of the food from warming too quickly and too warm.
